Our lamp is an autonomous and mobile lamp. It is totally independent of the official electrical grid. This lamp survives only thanks to the sun. The underside of the lamp contains solar capturers and a battery. Its originality lies in its suction cups which stick onto any type of window and can hence be recharged by light rays.
The lamp can work instantly after fixing it to a transparent or translucent surface receiving day light. The LED light diffusor is installed on a one meter long arm. The artificial light is consequently brought towards the center of the room.
Once charged, the lamp can also wander around and be installed wherever wanted, as it does not need any power supply.
The head of the lamp is easy to direct. It is mounted on a ball joint and thus the user can direct the light beams very easily.
The body of the lamp is made out of recycled material. The pedestal and the arm are made out of cellulose.
The design of the lamp is reduced to its minimum. The base containing the technical pieces such as the accumulator and the captor bears a resemblance to a spot that melts in the sun. The tube is purposely flexible. The oscillation gives the lamp a vivid character, just like the natural pulsation of a flower in the wind.
The interrupter is a chain fixed in a ply of the pedestal which gives the lamp an ancient touch.
In conclusion, the lamp looks like an eye mounted on a foot. It is a sort of benevolent alien, who follows you around and is always ready to light your path and your spirit.
