This gracious 60m rental apartment in the very chic parisian 7th arrondissement had all the elements to make a beautiful makeover thanks to the mix of old architectural elements, solid good bones and lots of natural light.
The marble fireplaces, intricate plaster reliefs and original parquetry flooring were preserved in a recent renovation retaining the apartment’s classic character. The decor done however, speaks 21st century design. The clean lined contemporary furniture and the simple palette of creams, purples and taupe blended beautifully to create the elegant yet unpretentious ambiance. Some modern accessories mixed with beautiful silver items found at the Marche de Puces, travel treasures and collections of the owner contributed to add character and the personal touch.
I love everything French, the food, the wine, the art to name a few, but what takes my breath away is the elegant architecture and that is why working on this tiny Parisian jewel has been a real treat!
