The bas-relief above the picture rail is an original Voysey feature. It was an obvious client demand that it was highlighted – but how to do that without ending up with lots of downlights in the ceiling n(horrible and not acceptable under any circumstances). Of course, this new-fangled LED lighting strip can be made to do much of anything, so a special extra-small profile LED strip was made by NJO and fitted into a slightly fattened picture rail. Superb result.
