Sculptor Cathy Azria animates structural compositions with fire. Lit or unlit, they are significant works of art, using natural materials & organic forms.  'Metropolis' is her homage to Fritz Lang's epic of 1927. Tall strips of metal echo the film's extraordinary skyline and gas flames from a concealed burner lick through them to cinematic effect. Each 'Metropolis' fire is made to order and will be an individual piece, handmade, signed and numbered.
