The piece that started the Green Oak Furniture collection in 2000 after winning awards and showing at Milan (Furniture Fair).

It was wabi-sabi/zen/quiet and pure, designed to be good to sit alone on or share with many friends. It is a work held together by gravity and two hefty wedges, gorgeously simple and surprisingly comfortable. Equally beautiful indoors or out. Dare I say there can be a leather upholstered version too.
