ARB Architecture were appointed by the National Trust
to carry out and design a specialist workshop that would be able to support the delicate and dedicated joinery services required to maintain Cotehele Manor house and the numerous buildings on the estate.

Our appointment involved assessing the requirements of the maintenance & property team and incorporating their needs into the layout. One of the main issues to overcome was limited space for deliveries of larger items together with a review and advice on health & safety procedures for storage for specialist materials.

There was also the requirement to incorporate a medium size office and kitchen area for the property/maintenance support staff.
