Since the Stone Age, humans have aspired to create a home that protects the family from natural elements and also provides them with a secure place to stay together and form lasting bonds. That desire to create a beautiful abode that serves as a shelter has grown to become showpiece of wealth and social status. Created by Parrado Architects the two level villa surrounded by greenery appears like a pretty pearl hanging from a green necklace. We now take you on a tour of this artistic villa in Buenos Aires, Argentina that is a classic example of beauty in simplicity.
Walking into serenity
The facade of the house may appear to have a Mediterranean touch because of the pristine white exteriors. The entire facade is well composed in minimalist style. Long rectangular windows appear stunning against the white limestone washed walls and create a pleasant aesthetic. Surrounded by a beautiful garden the home has a stone paved walkway leading to the main door that is flanked by scented flower shrubs.
Relaxing Living Room
The welcoming white interiors that lead visitors to the living room, make them curious enough to step in and explore other parts of the home to see if the rest of the house is just as tranquil. An L shaped sofa, stacked up with comfortable cushions is sure to catch your eye and encourage you to enjoy snacks and chilled drinks while relaxing.
Open Plan Design
The open floor plan of the house allows easy transition from the living room to the dining area and kitchen. The color palette throughout the house is white and presents a very calming effect. The elegant steel dome kitchen lights are the only ones that provide a contrast in this all white space.
Walk out into the veranda
After exploring the ground floor let us venture into the rear of the home that has a huge swimming pool just off the patio. The wide veranda has two fantastic sit-outs for family and guests comprising of a wide section of comfortable chairs and benches along with rustic tables and chairs. A cursory glance around the backyard will show that the property is bordered by thick vegetation for privacy.
A Poolside view
Though the table and chairs are designed like in a rustic kitchen with rough unpainted timber, the food served here is not primitive by any standards. Wide floor-to-ceiling openings provide an extensive view of the pool where one can spend a relaxed afternoon or evening.
Spacious guest bedroom
Now that we have explored almost the whole villa, let us check out the guest facilities too shall we? The guest room is dressed in light shades and has an attached bathroom and sliding glass doors that open out to the balcony which presents a stunning view of the surrounding neighbourhood.
