Belgian-born Parisian Luc Druez has been a textile research consultant for 15 years. His work, whether artistic or industrial, experiments with mixing natural and technical fibers to maximize their uniqueness under light.
Artistic director, he provides Haute Couture houses with a new take on the world’s oldest textile fiber.
He is also the creator of his personal LcD collection, composed solely of technical fibers given a new jacquard “spin”: fishing lines, raffia, rubber, copper and horse hair …
Featured in all professional expositions, such as Paris’ Maison et Objet, or on view by private appointment, the LcD textile collection also graces public and private art collections, such as the Textile Museum in Lyon, La Piscine in Roubaix, and the Ichinomya Fashion Design Center in Japan.
